We've been to the TR location a few times, overall we like the place, sometimes they have been a little slow but overall they do a good job and the food has always been very good. This past weekend we stopped in for Sunday Brunch, I had the Monte Cristo and the wife had the biscuit and gravy. Her dish came with potatoes and peppers on the side which she doesn't eat so she pushed those to the side, nothing wrong with them, she just doesn't like them. The owner stores at the table to see how things are, my wife made a comment about not liking the dish in general, owner had it taken off the bill without us asking which we thought was really nice.
I had a burger with avocado on it. Excellent. Fries were also excellent. Not cheap but not expensive.
My husband and i love this place!! The food is always awesome and the service is wonderfully southern! Terrific experience every time!
Great food if a bit pricey. But usually worth it. It can get a bit slow if it's busy, but the staff are friendly and professional. Love the burgers and fried pickles.
Often understaffed when busy. And more ingredients from cans these days. It used to be that Shortfields (TR) “punched above its weight” - food was better than setting - but today that’s less the case. Still fine for burgers and pub fare.
